Shortcake Sew-A-Long, Day 1

I felt so completely honored to be able to host this Sew-A-Long! I have been using Little Lizard Kings patterns for years and her Brooke Peasant Dress pattern was my first digital PDF to actually sew! I will be showing you how to create the flat bodice Shortcake with flutter straps and a snap crotch for easy diaper changing accessibility. I decided to use Riley Blakes adorable "Star Spangled" fabric as my main being that it's so close to the 4th of July! I also snagged some plaid from Hobby Lobby, eyelet for the flutters from Hobby Lobby, white for the lining, and for the straps instead of the traditional fabric I used picot edged bias tape in aqua. I love the texture it adds! Now, who's ready to ROCK & ROLL??? I know I am! Let's get this party started!

Day 1: Gather your beautiful fabric choices and print your pattern pieces out. For all my frugal ladies out there just print pages 6 - 9.
